I am extremely excited to announce that I have been selected for the 2016 Generation Project with Ensemble Contemporain du Montréal. Over the next year, I will write a new piece for ECM+ that will subsequently be toured across Canada throughout the Fall of 2016. I will be working with violinist Véronique Mathieu and pianist Stephanie Chua on a new piece to be released next year on a CD of Canadian works for violin and piano. More news about this project in the future! 

Select future projects include commissions for the Array Ensemble generously supported by the Ontario Arts Council (premiere on April 21st 2016), The Esprit Orchestra (premiere in 2016) and a new work for Saxophone virtuoso Wallace Halladay and ensemble to be premiered in 2016/17. In a co-presentation with the Music Gallery and FAWN Chamber Creative, my new opera l'homme et le ciel will finally be premiered after a workshop process of two years. NEXT PERFORMANCE ON DOUBLE BASS:

On August 22nd, I will perform a new piece for solo double bass and electronics by Canadian composer Stephanie Moore. The concert will be a part of the Toronto International Electroacoustic Symposium hosted by New Adventures In Sound Art. The concert takes place at 7:30 at the Wychwood theatre. Throughout the months of July and August 2014, The Bicycle Opera Project will be touring a section of my opera l'homme et le ciel as part of their six week summer tour. For the last two weeks of August 2014, I will be in beautiful Domaine Forget for the International Composer Program. During the two weeks, conductor Lorraine Vaillancourt and Le Nouvel Ensemble Moderne will rehearse and premiere my new piece Broken Images. As part of the 13th Street Winery Piano Series at the Canadian Music Centre, you can hear a performance of my piece Five Celestial Scenes for solo piano on June 13th at 5:30 in Chalmers House, the Ontario home of the CMC. On Dec. 22nd at the Lower Ossington Theatre, The Bicycle Opera Company will be remounting their show from last summer. They will also be performing some new works as they look forward. My new one act mono-opera Images of John A. Wilson will be performed by soprano Larissa Koniuk and pianist Wesley Shen.
